Pulse Day of Remembrance
For the Day of Remembrance events, I designed a graphic featuring 49 colorful strips, each representing one of the 49 angels lost in the Pulse tragedy. This design was created to visually honor the victims and reflect the unity and strength of our community. As leaders, first responders, families, and survivors gather for the annual ceremony at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, my work aims to encapsulate the profound collective memory and resilience that the event embodies. By using vibrant strips of color, the design not only commemorates the lives lost but also symbolizes the ongoing support and solidarity of Orlando. The ceremony, held on the evening of June 12, will be a poignant reminder of our shared commitment to remembrance and healing.
